Known Installation Issues

TransLog will not start and a warning message is displayed that indicates the TRANSLOG.EXE file is linked to a missing (export) MFC42.DLL.

Your operating system is missing or has an outdated system library file. This is a rare case occurring in a fraction of 1% of all machines. Download MfcDLL_Installer.exe and double-click on it. The MfcDLL installer program will place mfc42.dll and msvcrt.dll into the Windows system directory (folder).
